Each month, KOPA 101.3FM is proud to recognize a Maricopa Hero!  Someone in our community who goes above and beyond to make a difference. Whether they are helping a neighbor, volunteering their time, supporting local families, mentoring others, giving back through their work, or simply showing kindness when it matters most, these are the people who help make Maricopa a better place to live. We invite listeners to nominate someone they believe deserves to be recognized for their positive impact, big or small. A Maricopa Hero does not need to be famous, hold a title, or run an organization... they just need to be someone whose actions reflect generosity, compassion, dedication, and community spirit. Each month, KOPA will spotlight one nominee and share their story as a way to say thank you and celebrate the people who make our city stronger.
